Nino’s muffler shop, Willets Point, Queens, 2013, the year it closed. Unfortunately Nino’s shop located close to Citi Field was part of the 23 acres the city sold to Related Peoperies for onr dollar.
Nino had been there 28 years, and, after arriving from Peru, he supported a family and home with his business. In fact his son worked there along side of him everyday.
Nino was a great guy with a great sense of humor and loved his shop like his family.
