ART OF THE FLIP – OUTDOOR CHANDELIER

Epigrams

I don’t get it.

My preference, if i had 16 million dollars, would be better general lighting of the entire district including, bigger marquees, and the use of new lighting technology, done in a classy way, which is what General Electric, a big presence here, always delivers, like they did with this big-ass chandalier.

A district like this is meant to glow out above the buildings, in a way it could be “seen” if you were in a one mile radius, or even from the Heights, or across the Lake from the west side.

It’s taste, though, so, so what? If you like this sort of thing, you should hit the Staircase in Hudson Yards, Manhattan, another flip, but on the idea of staircases, that, curiosly, has resulted in quite a few suicides.
