A scrapper pushes his cart past the Citi Field on his way to one of the scrapyards in the Junkyard or Iron Triangle as it’s called. Much of the 65 acres of junkyards and auto shops has been redeveloped. The spot from which I took the shot was a body shop amongst many auto related businesses. Today it is the home of soccer for New York and it’s $800 million stadium across from Citi Field.
