The tree most likely grew from a sapplimg planted when theissection of the Forgotten Triangle was heavily Hungarian. The house that it sits in front of was demolished in 2017. It’s on a road called Ambler and seven houses are left along a three block long dead end strett at both ends – Sophia and Buckey.
I would call the air and soil in the Forgotten Triangle for the last hundred years to be amongst the most toxic in the country. It’s ugly but it still survives, even being painted and strangledby wire above its base.
