COWBOY

Epigrams

Cowboy relaxing on his front porch on East 83rd Street. Although thoroughly urban, his choice of western attire, associated with horses and riding was absolutely authentic.

Like many, now older folks in his neighborhood, Cowboy came from the the rural south, a long time ago and grew up amongst livestock, and was particularly fond of horses…which was also a life-changing experience he carried with him, since, as a youth, he was so seriously injured when his horse threw him as it fell, and Cowboy ended up underneath his horse.

Not supposed to live, upgraded to not going to walk again, and eventually Cowboy was back in the sadlle and riding. Because he loved it.

Came to Cleveland a young man, and worked at some of the msny industrial plants just sout of his home – Empre Plating, Midwest Steel – he loved the blues and sixties cars, particularly Oldsmobiles.
