I’ve never seen a better place for a cheat spot than here, on Grand Avenue in the Forgotten Triangle section of Cleveland. Ten years ago the street was lined with homes that dead-ended at the great array of factory buildings that began as the Eberhard Manufacturing Company.
A new 350 million dollar road, meant to spark development here, the Opportunity Corridor, will run right through here, and most everything has been demolished for its construction – in a huge section of the city, called, the Forgotten Triangle, that aready had seen 90% of its structures disappear. There’s no way this place will survive, the perfect spot for an illegal club.
The Predictive Moment was shut down by this one. In fact, the house was rehabbed and is still there. The Opportunity Corridor is done, and passes by, just beyond the Road Closed sign, and, while cruising the Corridor, the house is clearly visible, as what remains from a huge Hungarian industrial neighborhood, that evolved in to a Black neighborhood, and, eventually, nothingness.
