It’s Sixth Avenue in the eighties. A few times, hardly ever,  i would have my camera with me on various truck driving jobs in Manhattan. You would think that this guy was protesting or ranting, but, in fact, was celebrating his life in America, after having come here from Romania.

America is really something, that’s for sure, and leaving Romania in this time, would be real reason for celebration, and to be able to arrive at the, relatively speaking, best place to be, is phenomonal.

He was yelling in anger at his home he was escaping, and celebrating his new life in America, New York City. His style of expression was respectful as well. He would only jump out of the cab, while stopped in traffic, and always would return to driving, when traffic moved, then get out at the next red light…
