LAST DAYS AT EMPIRE SCHOOL

The students in the last classes at old Empire School, were allowed to write their feelings and sentiments on the walls. The school was one of twent-five that were closed in 2099-2010. There were quite a few significant structures and most were demolished, but Empire and Longfellow on East 140th Street still stand empty.
