STREET VENDOR 1

Epigrams

Shoe Man, plate 2

Mulberry Street, Chinatown, Manhattan in 1986. This shoe repair man propped up a sheet of plywood on the sidewalk and created a shop for his craft. The job is more difficult in the winter and you can see the strain between the warm and cold months.

Shoe Man
I live it.
