On E. 89th St. in Fairfax, Eddie does some palying, in the same neighborhood and block he grew up on, with eleven other brothers and sisters. Their father was a minister, so some family members took up playing music when thwey were five years old. Eddie, intuitively, mastered all the instruments, and went on to be one of the best and most appreciated guitarists in Cleveland, especially on the East Side where everyone knew him.
The shot was made in 2019, and Eddie’s life seemed to get harder since 2013 in addition to his good life as a musician, and he whad been shot a few times, in, for instance, a brazen burglary of his home. Make no mistake, Eddie survied these attacks but no one ele did. He had a permanent tracheotomy and talked with a voice box, and nothing could stop him, but his health wasn’t good and he wasn’t really doing the healthiest of things. But he was always Eddie, happy, no remorse, anger might come out recounting stories of people atacking him or stealing from him. In 2020 he would spend about year in the hospital with a nasty infection, but came back home to East 89th and continued his life there until, April, 2023, when Eddie passed away.
