In Van Cortlandt Park, the Bronx, the morning after hurricane Henri, I was greeted by this tag. Graffiti on nature or ancient artifacts, great infrastructure or occupied and working homes and businesses is abhorrent, but, can be great, on anythng abandoned, banal and a human-made wasteland.
Tagging nature and ancient artifacts is particulalry messed up and Taliban-like in execution.
“Star” is an asshole, and, might even make the hall of fame, if he continues. I have never seen this on this scale in the park, even though, it’s New York’s most wild in its northeast section, in the Bronx and is relatively unpatrolled. And, if abhorrent is too big of a word for “Star” then i’ll translate – yer an asshole.
