One twilight evening I arrived at Jackson Park which has a dominant view of the Over-the- Rhine neighborhood in Cincinnati and wanted to shoot it during twilight and the night. Just as I got there i heard a large committee of crows. I got my field recorder, at the time a tascam DAP-1 with a beautiful Sure VP 88 microphone, and crept to get as close as i could get to the crows, without distracting them, to record their sounds.
